Grandeco's corporate history

1978

 

Established in 1978 as part of the Balta Group, Ideco was founded in the historic Belgian town of Tielt, once a bustling centre of the Flanders textile industry between the thirteenth and sixteenth centuries.

 

1991

 

The firm’s forward- thinking leadership built on this proud heritage of Belgian wall covering expertise with a strategic switch from textile to vinyl in 1991. 30 years later: Grandeco Wallfashion Group Belgium is one of the world’s most important wallpaper producers with a dynamic team of over 300 employees. One centralized Belgian production plant, 5 sales offices in Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Poland and Russia and representative in more than 80 countries.

 

Today

 

Grandeco Wallfashion Group Belgium is one of the world’s most important wallpaper producers with a booming Belgian production plant, six sales offices in Belgium, France, the UK, Poland, Russia and Germany, and a dynamic team of over 300 employees active in more than 80 countries.
